I sometimes put my bag on the seat next to me on the train, to stop someone else from sitting there.

2. If people saw someone in trouble, they would be less likely to help if there were other people around.
3. People would be more likely to help a lost child in the street if they lived in a small town.
4. If you waited at the side of the road, drivers of cheaper cars would be more likely to stop and let you cross.
5. If you were an only child, you would be no more selfish than children with brothers and sisters.
