I have listened the song. The song was probably made after 2. world war because in the video I saw warplanes. The song is about how people are people as the title says. The singer doesn't get why is everybody hating on each other, why is there a racism among people, why was there a war. The singer is right! There is no need for racism, for judging people based on their nationality, race, religion, language they speak, etc…

For my example, I contribute this song:

In this song, popular singer John Lennon talks about how would world look if there was nothing to judge on, if we all lived in the same country, with same religion. He imagines that all people live in peace.

„Imagine there's no countries, it isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for, and no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace“

The song is about that we`re all people. It doesn`t matter if we`re different colors or different culture. Different people have different needs but that doesn`t mean that we need to hate each other. We does`t need to judge others because we`re not the same in every part of us. But we need to know that we`re all people and make mistakes.

I think that this song tells us that we are all different but we are still all humans. It doesn't matter what race we are or what color is our hair or eyes. It doesn't matter if we made bad decisions in the past, it matters what we learned from it. What matter is that how we behave to other living things and to over selfs, that makes us the most human.

Dear Lana-Ana,

thank you so much for the song, I haven't heard it before - I just love it, everything - the music, the lyrics and now I only have to see the movie 'Selma'.   I am so happy to have you in the class and learn from you.

Keep on with the great job!

So this song is about not judging anyone by race, religion, language, etc. But we have to respect someone else's religion, language, race because we are all different and I think everyone is special in their own way.

I chose this song because I like the songwriter's message that at the end of the day, whatever we are, we are all the same humans so we need respect others.

Dear Nicole,

thank you so much for sharing the song which is one of  my favourite songs- it is just great how  the song can be so great and about all of us- people so fragile and beautiful and strong and different at the same time.

This song is about not judging others because of other’s religion, race etc. Because at the end of the day we are all the same, we are all humans. We need to respect each other no matter what. Because my opinion is that if we don’t respect no one for what they are, we will be full of hatred. Hate isn’t good for our health, nor for their.

For example I like this song a lot

  (Allison Iraheta - Scars)

Because this song is so emotional and says about how we all have scars no matter who we are. So my opinion is, people finally have to understand that we all are the same because we all have experienced the same feelings: sadness, happiness and so more. We are one from inside, we are all the same even if from the outside we don’t look the same.

Dear Mejza,

your choice of the song gave me goosebumps- I love it! What a voice!

We people should really try to take more care of one another and of ourselves too, because if you like yourself, you will be more tolerant of the others I think. We all have our scars   -  they make us human. But the scars are the same, no matter the race, the colour, the religion...
